Im looking as well and i think thule makes them but there a little too much for me so i found this which is a little cheaper. Good luck and ill see what you go with and then make my decission

I have one. I bought it at Northern for about 50 bucks. It is really nice to use. It adds a little more space for carrying stuff. If I had to do it again I would get a slighly better unit.
I use plastic containers, I think they are rubbermaid. Be sure to check the depth of the bar that goes in the hitch. If it is too deep, it will hit your spare tire. So be sure to measure it before you buy.

I have one as well - one of the folding units. If I remember the brand I'll repost - my memory is failing me at the moment. I bought it at Tractor Supply - they were the cheapest around. Lowes carries the same brand but for more $$.
One thing to remember too is that the folding units like mine usually have a lower weight rating than the static units - my unit holds up to 350lbs (which was enough for me) but the static unit held 500.

I like your folding unit. It has some sides to it and it folds up. My unit can carry 500 pounds, but I try to limit it to about 200 pounds or so. I have a tounge weight of 500 pounds, but I don't think it is wise to push it.IIIBradIII said:

You do have to be careful with one of these carriers with the stock exhaust.
I purchased a 60" wide carrier to transport a dog crate and I had placed a few cases of soda inside it to take back home.
After a few hundred miles of exhaust hitting the carrier and the sodas. they popped and I lost 2 cases.
Lesson learned. Place anything heat sensitive to the left.
