Me and a friend was going to do this to a 4runner.. but the tranny went out and the 4runner was sold.. Good to see someone go through with it!

for something that protective, i wouldn't midn the extra added weight gain.

i'd imagine no more than 75 lbs.

The weight gain would be very little, less then 10 lbs per gallon. What a great idea for a off-road vehicle.

I saw a few owners do bumpers, fenders, kick panels on YT.

You buy the stuff and do it youerself. A friend did the bed in his Frontier.
