Hoen Endurance

I just installed the Hoen Endurance bulbs in my 07 fogs. I just thought I would post a picture of the color. They are very yellow and look great! I haven't taken the 4R out of the garage yet but from in the garage I am thrilled. Install was a breeze to boot. Anyway on with the picture, pardon my trashbag :biggrin2::

Very nice. What's the temperature of them? I installed a set of Hella Optilux Extreme Yellow (XY) which are 2500K. They've been a savior in foul nightime weather.

I love the look of these bulbs. They are my to add list when $ comes available! Have you upgraded your low beams to HID? Looks good.

Thanks....nope low beams are stock. The yellow fogs make the stock low beams look more white. The next upgrade on my list is the Phillips 4300 HID Kit from Xenondepot. Can't wait for them

Excellent temperature choice. I went 5000K for my low beams and after 2 very poor nights of fog/rain driving, I replaced them with 4100K lamps. Must be my old eyes because at 5000K i wasn't getting enough useable light.

That looks pretty good. What is the factory wattage of the 9006 fog light bulbs? Is it 55W? On eBay, there is everything form 70W to 90W yellow bulbs. That sounds a little high, and I wouldnt trust it as it could reak havoc on the wiring.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think the stock fogs are 35 watts. I will look at the bulb when I get home I seem to recall being it on there.

Most halogens are 55w for fog and low beam applications. HIDs run at 35w when they're fully warmed up.

You guys are right. Stock for the 4R is 55w. I was thinking about my TL, stock fogs on it are 35w. I just looked at both stock bulbs sitting on my work bench. I believe the Hoens are 55w, so I upped the TL by 20w and I guess the 4R is the same wattage.

There ARE a few vehicles that do use a 35W lamp for fogs. My g/f's daughters Malibu is one of them. I've even replaced her stock halogen fogs with a 2500K, 35W halogen lamp. The 4R's are definitely not.

Take a look at our 55W Putco juet yellow halogen bulbs on sale for $25.99:

Putco Jet Yellow Halogen Bulbs - H1 H3 H4 H7 H8 H9 H11 9006 9007! Upgrade your headlights now!

I have these installed in my fog lights and they definitely offer a nice deep yellow output.

Here are some pictures of the bulbs installed:

They don't list the temp...

For the money, I'll stick with the 2500K, 55 watt Hella Optilux Extreme Yellow.

I ordered those from xenon depot a few months ago! I think they work great, they have a really yellow color that projects about 12 feet in front and probly about 4-5 feet to the sides!
