Greetin's. I just bought a '87 4runner about a week ago. I've only owned Cadillac & Chevy so this is my first foreign vehicle. My 'Runner's got 222k miles, no smoke no leaks, drives fine (still getting used to the 4cyl after driving v8's all my life)
ANYWAY.. I love this forum (was constantly on here reading about the 1st gen's before I went out and bought one) annd now I can officially join

Thank ya'll. I've put 300 miles on it so far and couldn't be happier. I really love the toyota 4runner 1st gen, I've decided The ONLY thing that kinda bugs is how slow it is on the highway.. well not really how slow it is (I'm cool cruising at 60-65mph) but on any type of incline or hill... "She's givin' it all she's got Captain!"
