Hole worn in cloth seat - repair/replace?

For some reason the driver's seat on my 4Runner has developed a small hole at the edge, and it's getting bigger. Is there any way to repair this, or does the seat need to be replaced?

Pocket knife clip wearing the seat as you get in/out?

You can get a replacement OEM seat cover for a couple hundred bucks... or duct tape

classio leather seat covers. I rock em in my previous tundra, and have em in my 4runner since 2016.... love them.

If you can find an upholstery repair shop, I would see what they say. Probably will be the cheaper option and they can fix it before it tears out and gets worse.
