We can meet at the ranger station. There is the main entrance, which is down the road a little, but the ranger station is easier to find and you have to go there anyways. Here is a pdf of the park for reference.

Well I went out to Hollister on Saturday and had a blast. I was the only 4runner, but I met up with three Tacoma's and two FJ's. It had rained the entire day before so it was really muddy, but not horrible. This was my first wheeling trip with my 00 and I was very impressed. It handled any obstacle I put it through and was the perfect size for the trails. The locker made a huge difference when I needed it.
Also for anyone looking for a good mud terrain I have nothing but great reviews for the Cooper STT's in the mud. They were awesome in the mud and slippery trails and I got a lot of comments on the traction I was getting from them.
So we ended up getting side tracked for about an hour when we came along a Bronco stuck on the trail. It has slid a little too far off the trail and was close to rolling down the side of the hill. The only problem was we were on an incline, so the recovery points were a little difficult to get at. Eventually we got him out, only to have one of the Tacoma's get stuck. So I ended pulling the Tacoma out thanks to my STT's and rear locker. Also the access point on front bumper is pretty cool.
I didn't get as many pictures as I'd like, but we were driving the trails most of the time and the obstacle course was way too muddy to safely navigate.
