I was on my local Craigslist just for fun and within 5 minutes I found:

2 1990 4Runner's both 4WD, 5 speed, with 22Rs ($3600)

2 1990 2 door 4Runner V6 5 speed 4WD

I thought both of these were rare!

The second gen with a 22re is not that uncommon in the Northwest, the 2 door is not nearly as common around here but I think there are more in this area than in other parts of the country. I have also heard that the 2 door 2nd gen was popular in Canada, maybe a brother from the Great White North can confirm or deny this rumor.

this is correct 2dr. models are not that rare out here definitely see more 2g 2drs than first gen runners
