Got my homelink consol from partznet for my 06 SR5 the install took 5 minutes turned on the truck checked the map lights and sunroof button all good. I go to program my two garage door remotes and nothing. I do as the owners manual says hold remote 1-3" from homelink unit and and hold down chosen hl button and garage remote button all I get is a solid red light. No slow flash no rapid flash. Anyone have this problem?? Oh and I don't have rolling code equipped garage door system. Atleast I didn't see anything in the instalation manual saying it's a rolling code system.

First make sure the battery in the remote is good. Second, it takes more than a few seconds to get it to work so be patient. Lastly, if the garage door opener (not the remote) has a "learn" button then you will need to do the second step in the instructions.

How old is the opener? Rolling codes have been around for quite a while, so you may not realize you have it. Check the manufacturer's web site to find out for sure.

Thanks for the help toybox and Jharris, I did have a rolling code unit and this morning I went to the homelink website and printed out the instructions and all went well. I just wish I could get the sun visor homelink unit for my 99 SR5 4 Runner.

You're welcome. As an alternative for your 99, you could consider the Gentex mirror with Homelink: http://www.gentex.com/auto_plo_interior.html
