Homemade rear 3rd Gen Bumper

10 gauge, 5/16 steel, 2 d-rings which go straight thru and are also the connecting points to the frame, they slide into the rear rail and bolt on. Side support brackets add side protection which also bolt onto the frame. Holes will need to be drilled for this or it can be welded on.

Can add paint in satin clear for additional cost

My apologies, I am brand new to this or any forum for that matter. Bear with me. The receiver is 2 inches and 1/8th inch inside diameter, these bumpers are made to order by a friend of mine running a local Fab shop. i will post more pictures of the final product on the vehicle. Additionally, this bumper is made to fit my exact truck, which does have a 1" body lift and it is tight under the gate when installed, but with enough clearance to open with ease.

I see one major issue with this bumper from the start. You need to add a brace to connect the outer sides to the frame rail. I watched someone this past weekend nearly rip his rear bumper off for the same reason.

My description wasn't clear enough of this: but I am adding side supports which will bolt to the outside of the truck frame for this specific purpose. Nice catch though. They are included in the price, I just rushed this post.

I did extend it to meet flares. I will post new pictures tomorrow. Sorry, about the lag time.

No, The mounting points for the bumper are in a raised stance to fit mine. I can simply omit the curviture of the mounting points for my truck and it will compensate for the stock height.
