This a racing buddy's Element which represents his business and is the quickest in the country at the moment and at 5800ft asl it runs with the new Vettes. (not the Z06)

That is one fast Element!! Is it manual or auto tranny? 2wd or AWD?

The stock tranny has been converted to a 6 speed but it is using the original engine with a big turbo hanging off of it and it's still FWD.

Yes,that's Bandi so it should be a tad quicker down at sea level.

It's even got OEM style badging that says HELLAMENT so I'm sure people do a double take when behind him.

Quality of work looks top notch though, thing looks stock from the outside. Would probably really surprise you on the hiway if you're expecting a normally dog-slow Element to jack with lol.

What does your truck do in the 1/4;that Element is a low 13 second vehicle at sea level. I'm sure it would give you a run if not beat you and I'm betting on the Hellement.

13.8 at this altitude is right on par with a last gen SC'd Mustang Cobra and a couple of ticks behind a last gen Z06 Vette.

Elements run 16s in stock trim so two full seconds is quite a feat. This isn't a ricer racer.

His work was to also design a reproduceable kit for a company out in LA so yes,it was work but somebody had to be the first and it'll only go faster.

Yeah, it is quick for an Element. But at the same time, since that was run at altitude, you could probably take off a good second off the quarter mile time by driving it at sea level. I wouldn't be surprised to see it run high 12s at sea level.

Actually turbo cars compensate for the altitude since a turbo isn't dependant on engine speed and will still hit full boost.
My turbo Eclipse ran very low 13s up here (beating Vipers at the time) but down in Houston I was only good for a thousandth under a 12.5.

RamThis,you've only got 230hp stock but eqiupped with 300lbs of torque get you going but even with your mods (gears,ECU changes) you wouldn't even see a 14 second run up here.

You get owned big time.

Actually Elements run 17s or slower at sea level so he's knocked off over 4 seconds off it's stock time which was near an 18 up here.

I know he'd have me in the 1/4, I really havent done a whole lot to my "mostly stock" ram. It runs the 1/4 in 14.6 at 4600 lbs with no weight redux, spare tire and tailgate still in place and nearly a full tank of gas. We're abut 550 foot elevation here around DFW.

Never ran my hot rod ram in the 1/4 with the 500 hp KRC mill in it. Did run it in the 1/8 and it's such a dog off the line that it's 1/8 mile ET is the same as my mostly stock ram, at 9.8 seconds. Trap speed was a bit faster though, but cant rememer what the speeds were Id have to dig up my old timeslips.

They do make some bitchin' centrifigal SCs for your truck but with the vehciles you have you probably have enough to keep you busy.

The turbo diesel Rams can really make some ponies for relatively little money as I got schooled by a couple against my Eclipse and they outweigh my Eclipse buy nearly double and more. We're talking low 12s at 5800ft from a 6000+lb truck and there's no warning sine they all sound and appear stock.
