Hood mount for CB?

Like the title says. Having trouble finding a hood mount bracket for my excellent 3' Wilson Flex whip antenna. Anything available for the 4th gen?

Ive got a hood mount without the adjustable part, works great, but for the life of me, I cant remember where I got it, I will look and see what I find, wishe I could be more help

I just got that one, but didnt get a chance to install yet. I test fitted and it seems like it needs some sort of spacer between fender and the mount. Did you need anything to mount it other than what was provided?

nope just the mount itself, I put mine in the middle of the hood, in this pic, you can see just where its mounted:

it would mount to the side lip of the hood, or the back hatch lip.

no, no spacers. My antenna was a little crocked when mounted, so I just took some pliers and bent the mount a little to straighten the antenna

Sorry I was away for a few days. Thanks for the link I just ordered this mount. No need for a spring with the wilson flexi whip, you can bend them end to end with no ill effect. Not sure why more people don't use them. Anyway I'll post how the install goes. Thanks again.

I'm thinking of putting my antenna up front in the engine bay as well. What length of coax cable are you guys running? Firestik offers their 18 feet of cable, but all I need is like 5 feet.

I just saw this post as it was revitalized, but this mount from CBI looks great; but it's a little on the expensive side.
