Hood question

I have a 2004 limited 4.7 v8 and I really want to get a sport hood and im having trouble finding one, I remember awhile back finding a website that had a auto parts locator and I was able to find a few but I cant remember where that was.

Another question, I want to to do the satoshi grill mod as well, can I do this with a 04 hood and grill? I see that mod is offered for 05-11. If I cant do it on an 04 hood and grill will a 05 sport hood and grill fit on my 04 limited?

All Sport Hoods are the same, the difference is the grill, headlights, filler plates, and bumper. 03'-05' are the same, change came in 06'-09'.

Be careful on what you wish for, I bought a replacement hood from National Autobody Parts. Supposedly, OEM quality product (they have different grade products, I ordered the best one that they had). It was packed well, but the steel was much thinner than the oem product. It was just a couple of months ago and I already have palm dents in the front of the hood from the dealer and the smog shop pushing down on the hood to close it. Best to buy oem or find one out of a wrecking yard. In hindsight, I would have kept the original hood and saved a ton of headaches. Not to mention the cost of the scoop insert........That said, it does look nice from five or six feet away. Good luck, phil

Thanks for the input.. I wasnt wanting an aftermarket hood, I was hopping to find a salvaged one if at all possible.. Im just still confused if a 05 hood would fit on my 04 without any modifications.. I really appreciate the input guys.. Thanks

I've been in the market for a sport hood but found out those mother f***ers at the scrap yard want $400 for a used hood when new ones cost the same.
