Hood scoop help please

I know there has been many questions about hood scoops. But does anybody know anything about this ? It is an extremely low price for a hood. If anybody can help me out at all or point me in a different direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

i dont think anything is wrong with it, its just un-painted

That's just the base hood,you still will need another $150 for the rest of the scoop parts from the dealer or an on-line parts dealer and a few hundred to paint.

Thanks for the info.. Sounds like ordering straight from Toyota might be the better option.. has anyone ordered a scooped hood from Toyota and had them paint it? How much did they charge?

Watch shipping if you go with the one from PartsTrain!! These aftermarket companies lure you in with cheap parts prices then stick it to you on shipping.
To get the hood painted will be around $150-200, depending on who you go to.
Check salvage yards too. A hood w/scoop may be hard to find though.

i bought the hood scoop for my 02 and had it painted, all parts and labor for less than 500$, pretty good deal if you ask me, go through toyota, cheaper and OEM quality
