Hookin an Amp to a stock stereo

Hi, first of all I have no idea about how to run audio stuff! But I got a free amp and sub and would like to put them in, I just want the amp for the sub, I dont want to run any speakers through it. Is it possible to run the amp through the stock stereo? I have a 3rd Gen Base model. Thanks for the help

line output converter is what you need. tap into any speaker wires and hook the rca cables to your amp.

Ahh alright, thanks! I plan to upgrade the head unit but just dont have the cash at the moment
