Hooray for the double decker

Here's a big plug for the double decker cargo shelf:

I have twins and a 2 year old. thanks to the double decker, I can load the giant graco quattro tour double stroller (takes up most of the top shelf) and STILL have room to load other things under the shelf and between the end of the shelf and the tailgate.

This is an unbelievable advantage. Friends of ours with twins and mini-vans are jealous because these strollers are basically monsters, but necessary evils in many cases.

In fact, I loaded the old single quattro tour stroller AND the new double as well as everything we needed for a day trip - didn't even need the roof basket!

Please - resist the station wagon comments. the point is that as my life has changed (dramatically) the Runner has adapted and still handles everything I throw at it. I was great to NOT need to buy a different vehicle at this moment.

My mother in law barely made the weight restriction. We tested her on the freeway without any problem.:D
