Hooray, I bought one!!!!

Decided I didn't want a car payment anymore, so I sold my dodge ram (pos) and paid off the loanand took the left overs and bought a 4runner.

It's a 98, 126000 miles, 5 speed, 4wd, leather, with brand new tires. Bought for 5800, had a couple of bruises on the tailgate, otherwise in excellant condition. Previous owner used it as a DD only and was a mechanic with Lexus.

I reside in Fayetteville NC, sister town of Fort Bragg, aka Fayettenam. Looking forward to the forum's vast information on the 4runners.

I am looking to lift the vehicle only a couple of inches to fit 32's or 33's. I am not going to offroad this thing, I have enough expensive hobbies. I just want a little more aggressive look.

If you want to lift it just for looks go with a spacer lift. Daystar makes the most cost effective lift. If you think you are going to wheel very little, go with daystar front and OME 890 or 891 in rear. Reason being is our rear coil springs tend to sag really bad. So if you put a spacer on top of a sagging spring, your rear-end will still sag.
