I think some of you may remember when I bought my Scion 6cd changer from a low-life, piece of sh*t on Scionlife.com. I triple checked that the changer was put in "Ship Mode" before he sent it out and he assured me that it was. I got it and installed it to find the Error 3 code when I tried to load a cd. Bastard. I tried to contact him to get my money back ($250) but he wouldn't return my e-mails. I e-mailed paypal and they said I got something so they couldn't do anything. I called my credit card co linked thru paypal and did a chargeback and got credit. After a month, they said I received a stereo and was charged again. I was pissed.
I looked online for a fix but couldn't find one. Then I bought a single disc HU off ebay for $92 shipped. Everything was fine until one of those threads came up and made me wonder if I could take it apart to see what was wrong.
A few nights ago, I took it apart and played with the trays and got it to move around more freely than it did before. I installed it this morning and it worked! I loaded 4 cds and they all played (2 mp3 ripped and 2 regular, store bought cds).
The only downside is that I can't change the SCION power up message. Sounds just as good as the single disc unit but now I have room for 5 more cds

Anyone have tips or tricks for the T1802 6cd changer? I've been looking and can't find much.
Also, anyone interested in a T1804 single disc HU? Clean, no marks and works great! Used about 10 months. The back is pre-drilled for the diversity antenna cable so you can plug both antennas into the unit. If not, I'll throw it on eBay.
