Agree to a point (mentally ill is just that), but the "both sides" argument doesn't hold true in every circumstance. It's pretty clear who's been painting the target on Fauci's back, leading the toon's to take action. I've never advocated violence, political or otherwise. I'll step back and let the folks who want to joke about all this proceed. :wave:

I saw something about a place in Texas fining people for not covering their faces out in public. Hopefully this turns into a trend in the USA and around the world. It's been said this is how Singapore has kept their infections amazingly low when comparing with other countries with the metric of infections per million.

My nephew lives in Singapore and their claim to fame is that they test, test and do more tests and trace back every contact. They also post condition and general location of every positive.

He's been sending photos and I rarely see a mask or other face covering. They are bracing a return though. I posted this link before. Scroll to under the big checkmark to see daily updates with contact tracing.

Down here in the swamps its more insane then normal. People that obviously haven't driven in a while, driving cars with no plates, racing to get into the wally word line. Motorcycle riders getting that last ride in before the "lock down" on friday. Kids racing around, blowing stop signs... even more then normal. Driving in Mississippi is always like rolling in the thunder dome, but its three times as crazy. Its not offensive, fast like NYC and its not " the only laws are the laws of physics " driving in eastern Europe. It just crazy.

Well, poop. I went looking at more info, and it seems the first bit of info I got was wrong about Singapore. I have seen Taiwan and Hong Kong mentioned as places that do use masks and have low rates in followup data from the video I saw, but now I'm less inclined to believe any of it. Blargh. Whatever. I'm still using a mask/scarf/whatever.

My hands are always going to my face. Just dumb habit. Gloves help me avoid my face, as I won't rub my eyes/face while wearing them.

All kidding aside and with the utmost seriousness has anyone heard of Marshal law happening on the east coast soon? I unfortunately overheard a loud cell phone conversation at a store, that has a lot of cameras, by someone who said he was a Corporal. I spoke (confronted) with him. Didn't sound good. Others who are in "the know" said he was a asshat and no one in any authority would behave like he did. Keep New Jersey weird. Not feeling really great tonight. Any thoughts or insights?

I would not trust a glorified E4 of the national guard. He will know about it when he's standing the line. Not before. more likely he was playing the sympathy card IOT get some trim.

Florida’s idiot governor’s number one “essential service “ is attending church services. There’s no end to the stupidity, especially among the religious who I guess will just continue to ignore science and believe anything, like we’re still in the Middle Ages. I couldn’t care less about them except for what they might do to normal people they come in contact with.
 
This thread (especially the first 15-16 pages) was painful to read through. You can see some commenters eventually come to their senses over time. It played out almost exactly like it did where I work. I live in Kirkland, WA where this all started and I was getting made fun of in early March for using hand sanitizer at my desk. Now we're all out of work.

This is real. It will affect you regardless of who you voted for.
