I've heard that the virus's ability to survive in the open is also impacted by humidity. Anyone else?

Yep. This one's difficult to watch, editing is pretty bad.
Wasn't he + others following the advice of experts such as Fauci, Birx, IHME, and WHO?
And what changed - why was everything ok up through mid March and then the script flipped by180 degrees?

I think this wikipedia article is not quite right.
For starters, it omits the WHO and PRC ignoring Taiwan alerts in December, and it goes downhill from there.

Yeah, this is interesting. One of those studies that raises more questions than it answers.
1. It was conducted in the southern part of the SF Bay Area. Very diverse, lots of high tech workers who travel to Asian countries for work to support subcontractors there, and to visit family during holidays. Lots of foreign exposure, is this the first entry of the virus into the US?
2. The invitations to participate in the study were sent out through Facebook and other social media. Mostly young and healthy people? How do you correlate this to the general population in the area?
3. Did this introduce the virus early into the Bay Area in the Nov-Dec timeframe?
4. Did those with positive antibodies remember going through a flu-like bout of illness, any sickness at all?
5. What’s the accuracy of this test?
6. Does the presence of antibodies means you’re immune to further infection from this virus?
It’s exciting news. It shows that we need more research, to develop more testing technologies, test more people and more often. Hopefully the results will help with this outbreak. And the next one.

There *is* a section in there criticizing the WHO. It could use some work.
At the top of the page there is a note:
“ This article is about a current pandemic where information can change quickly or be unreliable. The latest page updates may not reflect the most up-to-date information.”
If you feel ambitious you could create an account and edit and add more information to the article. I’ve done that in the past to correct errors on a page.

I think it’s possible, but it only spreads that way if you don’t wear a mask down there.
I just want ask if anyone has noticed that its GM and FORD making ventilators. Two companies not exactly known for the RELIABILITY. And one of the main reasons most of us are in the forum. Makes me wonder if they are giving a 5 day/60 hour (which ever comes first) warranty on them???

It may be a cure for malaria, but there is no definitive proof that it works for Covid-19, only anecdotal evidence. There is significant evidence that it can be harmful if not prescribed or administered properly.

Here where I live there's a LOT of construction and much of the labor force is immigrants and most are paid/hired as "1099" workers, i.e. non-employee/sub-contractor worker, meaning the employer pays nothing towards the worker's taxes, all taxes are the responsibly of the worker, and also the worker has to bid or agree on what he's paid which is usually way below the normal salary for the work being done.
