Today, as I was driving in traffic and inching up, I heard this horrific groan coming from the front and rear axle when I slightly took my foot off the brake to roll forward. I had a friend in the car and he asked me what that was. I tried it again and there it was. Never heard this noise before and I had the truck for 8 months. It cannot be the brakes because there are only 7,500 miles on it. I brought it home and went test driving around my development. I found that the noise would not be as loud once the truck warmed up. Also, when I shift gears, it now gives me a jolt with that same noise, even when it is warmed up. There is also a rev of the engine when I shift gears and my foot is on the brake. This all started today. I am taking it in to the dealer tomorrow and hope that I will have it back soon. Seems like it may be there awhile until they find this. What do you guys think it is? Has anyone else experienced this problem?
