Hopefully getting my 4runner tomorrow

So I am heading to look at what is hopefully soon to be my 4runner.

Im riding with my dad from Boise Idaho to Salt Lake City tonight and then will catch a bus tomorrow morning from SLC to St. George Utah to look at a 4runner.

It is a 96 sr5 4wd with all power options including moonroof, keyless entry and locking diff. It is a 2 owner car that both owners were old couples and the current owner has every service record from the car (the previous owner was a coworker). It has a little higher miles than I was looking for (198,xxx) but it was always garaged, serviced on time and taken very good care of according to the owner.

If when I get there everything looks and feels good, Im dropping what I think is a very fair $4100 to drive it home. If not, the bus trip only cost me $100 both ways and I will keep on my search.

Looks like you've done your homework. The photos certainly show a clean 4Runner. The key to any used vehicle is the documentation supporting how well its been maintained. If the latter checks out, then the 198K miles is a moot point.

On the bus on me way. About 6 hours and ill see it for the first time in person. I can't wait. What do some of you other guys think? And is 4100 a decent price on it? From what I've seen and with the service history ect, I think it is but just wondering your guys thoughts.

As 8sm said, with the documentation the mileage is pretty much not an issue. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
