Horn honk when locking doors

Mine beeped the one time I pushed the button(s) to lock and unlock it. Quite the novelty.
I lock and unlock with the key in the door(s). Been doing it that way for 43 years. No reason to stop now.

Does anyone know if connecting a 12v 20w alarm horn to the piezo speaker is possible? just like unsub1 and billnourse wrote, I too need to trust but verify my vehicle is locked by hearing it. The piezo is a joke for a vehicle which is "old school" like The Car Care Nut says.
