Horn issue

2008 V6 Sport. My horn is not working. Will not work when I hit the panic button on key fob. Put new horns on, they do not work. Tried turning steering wheel all directions and still nothing. I can hear a clicking sound near the interior fuse box when pushing the horn. Checked all fuses, none blown. I do know there are two other larger type fuses, location 50 in engine bay, and 56 in the interior, I do not know how to test those (other than replacing them). Seems like if the issue was in the steering wheel, I would not hear the clicking in the interior fuse box..?? Should I just replace the two fuses location #'s 50 and 56? Any other suggestions on where to check?

Pretty sure there are/is a relay also associated with the horn. I'm having a similar problem with my Matrix. There is a relay in the fuse box for it as well as a fuse, The relay is same as two others in the fuse box, swapped with one, that didn't work, so still working on that. Check the connections at your horn with VOM and see if getting juice. If not, could be a relay.

oh yeah, are you using Toyota horns or "will fit"? From what I've read in another thread, use of will fits can be a problem.

Using Hella horns that have the correct Toyota connections...?? What location is the horn relay in? I can not find anything that shows the location of the horn relay.

I was messing around with the ambient air temp sensor, and one of the horns started working....??? Any idea why this would affect the horns? If I replace it, should both horns start working if in fact that is the issue somehow?
