I have been wanting to add horsepower to my 2008 Sr5 v8. It comes stock with 260 horsepower, but I would really like 300 or so. What could I do keeping money in consideration to make my 4runner a "4sprinter"?

Welcome! Many have done an aftermarket exhaust from TRD, Borla, Gibson et al. They've also done CAIs from K&N, TRD, Volant and others. Most don't go much farther than that. Those won't raise the horsepower by 40 but most who do it report better performance and those mods completely peg the machismo meter.

save your money now & get a supercharger when/if they ever make one. Underdog Racing Development either way, picking up 40+ HP will cost big $.
