House socket

I remember seeing a thread a while ago, on how someone installed 2 ac sockets in their 4runner. They were like the ones you'd find in your house. Does anyone know where i can find it? I tried searching for it, but i haven't seen it since.

Don't remember seeing this thread, there was a few on adding extra 12V cig lighters in the front passenger area.
You could buy an external 120V plug at the store and mount it inside the center console or somewhere in the front or trunk area. You will probably have to do some drilling and mounting, however.

Maybe i saw it on yotatech. And i've seen things on the power inverter but im not sure if i wana buy all of that.

Well to get a house socket you'll have to buy an inverter anyways. Only way to turn your 12v battery to 120v house. So might as well buy an inverter that has the plug on it already.

Good point, at least with an inverter you can move it to another vehicle if necessary or use it in different parts of the 4Runner to power/charge things. They aren't too expensive and is just a plug & play!
