How can I fix my antenna?

Last year I went through a car wash and it ripped my antenna right off. Not sure if its fixable, will I need a new cable?

Here is a pic to see if anyone can help me out.

yeah, if the base is still there with the chrome just turn on your radio and grab and pull it out and then once you have a new antenna with a new cable just turn the radio off with the cable down in the whole and it will feed it autmoatically. just make sure the base is ok.

This is a common problem and unfortunately a break like this cant be fixed. Thousands have tried and failed epicly












Nah, Im just play'n. Best bet is to just though one on from taco and call it a day.

You need both the mast base with the cable to the back of the radio, and the actual whip antannae that screws into it. If you search "taco whip" you'll find lots of info on this.

Not quite that simple. You'll need to remove the power antenna unit presently equipped and replace it with the non-powered unit from the Tacoma. The Tacoma antenna will not screw onto the the powered unit, hence why you've got to replace the entire thing.

Reading this will make tons more sense.

The Tacoma assembly comes with a silver whip antenna, so you'll need to shell out a few extra bucks if you want a black one. IMHO, totally worth it.
