How come there is no writeup section?

While search does hold the answer to most if not all questions. It would be less congested in here if we had a sticky on the main page with a bunch of writeups and install guides held within it. I know my bike forum has a huge sticky with every mod u can do and install writeups. Just a thought.

how about a sticky at the top of each section with links to write-up threads?

as i know there are a number of write ups on here already, we could just start a write up thread here in the 3rd gen section and just have it full of links to the actual write ups, this way you can just do a normal thread about a write up and then link to it in the above sticky, the only work really would be searching for the write ups already done and pasting the link, i think this way also gives us the added benefit of keeping things generation specific opposed to getting 1st and 2nd gen stuff as well and causing a headache when weeding through whats useful and whats not.

It already exists. Look at the first Sticky in General discussions.

almost all of that stuff is for 4th gen's. A post in specific generations subsection makes more sense then having to wade through a post with 5 generations of install writeups

isn't general automotive be like talking about amor-all and simple green,oils, ect ect....wouldn't think to look there for something as detailed as a write up?

i'll start searching for 3rd gen write ups to link to if we can get a mod to promise to make the thread a sticky in the 3rg gen section, if we all contribute it shouldn't take long and all the mods have todo is make the thread a sticky...
