How do i get the rear door panel off?

Hey guys I am putting new speakers in my rear doors on my 1996 4Runner.

I have the bottom half of the door basically off but the top half seems to be stuck..

I took the screw out from the door handle on the inside and I pushed in the two circular tabs on the top left and right.. the problem is up by the window. i already pulled on it a little too hard and ripped it a little bit.. i tried pulling up and it wouldnt really budge. Does anyone know what to do?

well I got an 01 so I don't know if this wiil help. if you have a trim piece around the lock stud that's got to come out and I have two trim buttoms on the butt edge and top left that need a pick tool to be removed hope this helps. good luck

ok I just checked the back door and yes the same things apply
