How do I merge the two antenna cables?

I have an 07 (yes, I've asked before, but never gotten an answer that made total sense to me).

I have a non-JBL stereo. I am attempting to put a factory nav (E7019) which is also not JBL. The 4Runner factory stereo has 2 antenna wires (one Motorola standard, and one thin one). Is there an adapter that allows the big motorola size, and the tiny size to be hooked in, and then both hooked into the head unit using a Motorola standard size? Just a 1 big and 1 small female converted to a 1 big male?

Any ideas? I've done some reading here and it seems to depend on what head unit you're switching to. Any advice appreciated. I'd prefer to keep the window only diversity antenna and not switch in the shaft antenna style. I hate them.

People have used an adapter but I think it's easier to just hook up switched power to the third smaller black wire and hook up the one "normal" antenna wire to the deck. There is a ton of threads regarding this issue...some with pics...search and ye shal find

I feel like such a slacker. I can't use a computer only a phone. I had a three level lumbar fusion, so searching is aost impossible.y brother will come do most of the work if I can lead him to info fast. It is just almost impossible for me to search and narrow down on this phone. Otherwise i'd search everything out here and print it in advance. Now I just bookmark what you guys direct ne to and email links to my brother for him to print.

Really it is a mess but my only option now.

Been looking. Slow as heck. Thanks for the headsup larry. Can you link me to a pic? I can go from there. I read abouthow you can use two metra things. One splits to 2. Then you put the big adapter in to one side, put the main end right into the stereo, then put the adap from small to big on the other side.

Which way works better? That or powering one with power from the car tht creates a loop or something?Hoping to get him to do it all tomorrow since it is his day off and I want to make sure the radio works before my warranty period is up since the guy shipped it 3 days after surgery instead of a week before! DANGIT!!!!
