How do I remove the exterior door handles?

I was trying to remove the door handles yesterday from my broken down 4runner can someone help me with the removal process of the exterior door handles? I looked around and couldnt find anything. Someone please help me out thanks in advance!

I've never had to do it but you start from the inside, pull the door pannel off there should be a linkage that connects the handle to the latch and at least 2 screws that hold the handle to the door.

it's.. so... easy...

obviously he hasn't worked on a car much... if he was trying to remove it from the outside...
