How do I turn off the annoying Dayrunner lights?

Anyone know how to turn off the day runners? I heard there is some crazy way to get them turned off?

I have a 2000 sr5???

Disabling DRL on my 2001 was much more complicated than those instructions, since the module is in the driver's footwell. Worked out well though since I wired in a switch to allow me to use them as I see fit -- as it should be.

I generally don't like them on, but it is useful at times to use them instead of turning the lights on proper.

Yeah i'm on my droid atm as well but if you notice the link says early models i think that's 98 down but it's definitely not for yours.
