Love my MoreFunner's tailgate, but I wish the upper part were a hatch that's quick to open, instead of a power window that's slow and would not work if battery is dead.

Yeah my buddy has an earlier Chevy Blazer and those tailgates operate that way. It's a dream. You do lose the aspect of being able to roll down the window in transit though.

Pick Up Truck. Body on frame vehicle that has a passenger cab and a cargo area that are fitted on dependably of each other.

Remember folks, you could get a 4Runner back in the 80s with a rear seat delete. Just a metal bed in the back. So I would consider our 1st gens and 2nd gens to be trucks, but not a PICK UP TRUCK. The Big three make those.

For what it's worth I call mine a truck, but as I also own a pickup it can get...confusing.

What really bothers me is when someone calls a truck (especially a full size rig) a car...

I think it all depends on where/how you grew up.

It's almost offensive.

I call mine a beater, as I bought it for $200 and drove it home... fixed what NEEED to be fixed and drive the hell out of it.. Take it hunting, crash into a tree, meh.. no worries.. Not a show truck

When I see one thats stock height, its more of an SUV to me.
With a little lift and tires, its more of a truck.

Mine - Slowly becoming buggy.

I guess it just depends on how much

I consider mine a truck.. its sure tiny next to my chevy, but I fit 3 bales of straw and two 55 lbs feed sacks in it so it earned Truck!

I classify mine as a truck. Although my insurance says its a sport wagon.
