How do you install the oem sport bumper?

I have heard that you have to drill holes into your bumper to attach it. Is it possible to not drill the holes and still install it? Possibly use double stick tape? I know they break easily and I don't want to drill holes and then have it break on me. I can maybe get one from a friend for under $100 so it is much cheaper than a metal one, which I know actually has a function unlike the Toyota one. I like the look but I am not drilling into my car. It would look great on my black SE. Does it attach from underneath the bumper and to the bumper? Any info would be helpful. I tried the net and a search here but no info. Thanks guys.

I like the look too but if I had it to do again I wouldn't spend the money on it. If you can get it cheap then hang on to it and resell it to the next one here that breaks it.
Mine is attached just like the others on this site. There are 2 upper bolts per side through the bumper (requires drilling) and 2 lower attachment plates. Take a look at the sport trim before you mount it. You would probably have to cut off the bolts in order to mount it. Don't know about the 2-sided tape idea. Can you get some pics of the backside of the trim (mounting side?)

I can't get a pic as I have a friend who has a "friend" that can get me one. I think this friend works at a dealership. So I don't ask and I don't tell. I will let you all know if I get it. If I do I can post pics. So you are saying that the bolts are already attached to the sport bumper? If that is the case then it looks like I would have to drill the holes. Hmmm, unsure how I want to go about doing this.

Not sure if the bolts are already attached.
If you are unsure then just don't do it. IMHO, it's not worth it no matter how much of a "deal" it is.

Yes, you will need to drill holes in the bumper. There are special mounting brackets that you will need to purchase, as well (if they are not part of the package). You could probably go to a metal shop and have some kind of custom mount fabricated, but that is WAY more trouble than it is worth. I don't think double-sided tape will do the trick.

double sided tape comes in handy when mounting emblems. I wouldnt use it to mount the sport bumber, kinda like using chewing gum to fix a leaking dam.

go to carquest and get yourself a 1 inch roll of 3M double side tape in (BLACK) $12 I think)not the 1/2 inch dark gray like the one Walmart has. The black are made for professional use and stick 5x better!be sure to clean the area off good with alcohol first.

Although the bumper seems light enough to use industrial 3M tape and it will likely hold if enough tape can be used and thorough prep is done, remove wax etc.; but I think you will have a problem finding enough surface area to apply the tape too.
