How far has your runner been from home?

Let's see how much you guys trust your trusty trucks. What's the farthest distance you've been from home in it? Middle of the desert? Remote mountains? The mall?

I'm destined to lose this one. Mine's been about 80 miles from home, and no further! hahaha

In July of this year I went:

San Francisco > Grand Tetons > Yellowstone > Bozeman, MT > Glacier National Park > Olympic National Park > Crater Lake > Redwood National Park > San Francisco

5600 miles in 4 weeks

and I wish I could do it all over again !

Mine dirves from Coast of NC to Mountains of West VA. at least 2-3 a month for snowboarding.. Taken it from NC to Rhode Island.. all with over 250k.

My '86 went to the Oregon coast, The Modoc Nat'l Forest and Lava Beds National Monument in northern CA, Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, and all over the Utah mountains and deserts.

San diego and back. about 240 miles round trip. thats when my overheating problems started and I have been scared since. lol
BUT replaced everything and got the E-fan mod now. should be good to go.

I think I can take the cake. Longest trip is to my work (only twice), which is 56 miles round trip. Not that I dont trust my truck, I just do not have a reason to take it when I can take my car that gets 35mpg.

i make a normal trip over two mountain passes and across miles of hills to get from Tacoma (Hour south of Seattle) to Pullman (WSU, COUGARS!!) Which is like 300 miles give or take. She runs with just me, and loaded down with stuff/people. Though she did blow her HG going over a pass, but she drove home on it as i poured oil in so that i could get it home to fix. Worked pretty well. Still take her back and forth. I'd trust her to go anywhere i point her, if only i could afford the liquid gold to do it!! :nono::nono::nono:

Recently, I put 1000 miles on it traveling OVER the Rocky Mountains (on road) to Moab,UT then over the mountains again (some off road). It has bee from Colorado Springs to Kansas City twice. I trust the Minnow to get me where I am going when needed.

I drove 466 miles from Akron Ohio to Johnson city TN (about 8 hours) in august and went back last week. People don't believe that the pumpkin can go over 45mph haha, think again!

My 92' made it from Pomona, Ca to Boulder, CO and back roughly 2k miles roundtrip.
