How for can you drive with one full tank of gas?

I have a 2016 TRDP. Depending on ....... I can go 390 - 440 miles. I once made 480 miles driving an avg of 40mph up I-95 in heavy traffic from DC to Boston.

My vehicle holds almost precisely 25 gallons.

Looks like you win the most miles on a single tank and the biggest fill up.

Ditto, unless they are driving under 50 mph, with no stops, flat ground, grandpa start taking 2 minutes to reach said 50 mph, no head wind, removed interior seats, spare tire, roof rack delete, 2wd model, real gas with no ethanol, and adding unicorn in a can to each tank of gas......

Nope. Stock truck, 60-70mph on back hwys and mountain passes. But I am always surprised how much a hit I take on mileage when I go to a metro area like Las Vegas, SoCal, or NoCal.

sadly with my 2018 trd pro i get 14mpg combined. this is after my last road trip from SF to LA going about 80+mph. right around 300 miles to the tank

Once I get on the open highway I can drive to within five miles from the nearest gas station.

Are you modified? My wife gets 16.5+ all city and I'm consistently over 18 combined?

My mileage dropped over the last week to 18.8 manually calculated.... I'm a little frustrated with the poor fuel economy I'm seeing with the ethanol free fuel on a 4wd with a kid seat and associated accessories (including the unicorn) while driving in heavy traffic on I-75. You got me on the roof rack though, I put the mountain bikes on the hitch rack instead.

Seriously though, the wide variance in MPGs discussed on here is a little mind boggling. I drive conservatively, but never under the speed limit and just based on the economy display on the dash, my MPGs don't seem to be negatively impacted at any speed between 70mph and 80mph.

That's about what I get on the highway. (At 65 mph)
17 mpg +- in town.

I have never run the tank till 'empty', I always fill up at about 1/2 to 1/4 full.

Country I drive in has gas stations from maybe 50 miles to 150 miles.
But you never know when you might run into a slide or road outage,
so I just stay 'prepared'.

Old motorcycle saying... "Only time you have too much gas is if you're on fire".

Using my Road Trip app to keep track of gas mileage since I finished modifying my 2015 TE, I’ve averaged 14.92 MPG for the last 30,000 miles. About 25% of these miles was towing trailers weighing between 2500-5000 pounds.

Depending on season and where I’m driving and whether I’m towing, I never put more than 300 miles on a tank. I try to fill up whenever I get to a half a tank. My largest fill up was 21.1 gallons.

Less than 300 miles this time of year. I also don’t really care about mileage anymore either though. I used to never go through the drive thru, idle, watch eco light blah blah blah. I just drive now.
