How happy are You with Toyota's all-weater floor mats

I bought these mats some time ago and I like them a lot. They look nice and fit perfectly. However now, with a lot of snow on shoes every time I get into 4R, all that water doesn't stay on these mats and it goes into the carpet. I don't like it and I would like to have mats that are able to hold all that water. It is not that much of it since most of my driving is in the city.
Can anyone suggest other mats that would fit and look nicely in my 4R ? It's only January and there is still a 2,3 months with snow and I think i will have to replace them with something else.

I get the same thing, they are ok but dont keep runoff from getting on the carpet...I have seen other mats that have a bigger lip around the edges, i guess those would work better...I dont remember what brand they were though

Japanese 4×4driver use Tray-type rubber mats.
I think so like(same?) Mr.live4swell use one.
Japan is many rainy days.

Same here... In Chicago we have everything....snow, rain and sometimes way too much of it...That is why I'm looking for something that will hold all that water in place....

The Catch-All Xtremes seem to be doing very well for me so far.... They cover the carpet all the way to the edge without leaving the gaps you showed in your pictures.

I placed Husky liners over my Toyota 4Runner mats. I bought mine from www.cabelas.com.

The lips on the Husky's will prevent water and ice from staining the edges like you showed in the pics.

I bought the grey and it matches the interior perfectly.

I thought the 03-05 version a-w mats look like the pic below below:

Aren't the 03-05's are wider? Am I wrong on this? are the 03-05 aw mats the same as the 96-02?

I don't think so. Some website are showing pictures of different floor mats than You try to order but with your order You always specify for what year and what kind of car you need your mats. Besides 4th generation is a completely new design and I doubt 96-02 mats would fit perfectly,,... Toyota's all weather mats are good but only when You don't have snow in winter.. Mine were great until winter came and after that they couldn't hold all that water from snow. However they look really nice and I'm considering having 2 sets..husky for winter and all weather for rest of the year.

If i have time tomorrow I'll try take a picture of whole set so You can compare them to yours...
