I just changed belts on my 98 T4R, 3.4.
It is not that hard, once you figure out how things are set up to work. On my Yota, there are what I call a "lock down" bolt and a tensioner to each belt to be changed......(3 belts). I had access to a lift and was changing my oil at the same time which made it easier as some of the bolts are reachable from the top and some are easier from the bottom. When doing the alternator belt, there is a 3rd bolt that must be loosened to allow the alternator to pivot.
But basically, I loosened the tensioner then the lock down bolt to allow the accessory to pivot, removed the old belt and put on the new one and then tightened the tensioner to the desired belt tension and then tightened down the "lock down" bolt.
