How high should the temperature gauge be?

Just wondering what everyones temperature gauge is at. Ive owned many cars and this is the only one that sits right at half the gauge. Kinda scares me to be honest. Its like exactly at the halfway marker.

Mine sits a little lower than the half way point, not sure if thats where it should be but i dont seem to have any problems.

yea i dont seem to have any problems either. The car runs real good. Everything works perfectly but ive been noticing the temp just sitting right at the halfway.

yeah, mine sits just below half usually. btw, where are you at in washington?

you should be fine, mine warms up and sits directly in the middle also, never had a overheating issue

Mine also sits halfway. Never did go any higher on mine. If you are really concerned with your temp you should get a scan gauge. I have one and found out that my 4R normally runs between 185*-190* but never went hotter than that.

Mine gauge has always sat at half or a little under. I bought a scanguage II and my temp reads out at a constant 190 deg. I have hit 196 pulling a trailer in the summer but thats about it. It runs way cooler than my friends cherokee, it runs constantly at 208-211.
