Looking to upgrade from my '99 and was hoping you 4th Gen dudes could help me out in my search.

How's this deal look? Obviously need to get it checked out by a mechanic to get it squared away but regarding year/mileage/model and price, how's it look?

Yeah, its definately fair, but in your email, just ask if they ''can get close to $19k'' and they should come back w/ their bottom line and open up the lines of communication/etc.

Go for it. I just bought 06 SR5 V8 blue 4wd, 33k miles for $22.5k on Saturday in State College, PA. I was very happy with the price.

that's a good deal. I just bought a 06 Sport with 40k for 24,000 about two months back. So If it all checks out, looks like a good buy.

Mine was listed at a dealer for like $24,990 or something like that and paid $22,500.

My last car, a used Accord, was listed at $10,000 and talked em down to $7,500.

Dealers can always go down on their prices and are never "losing" money like they want you to think. I just bought my '03 4Runner limited for $9,800 flat from a dealer who was asking 13,800.

I just picked up an CPO 08 SE 2wd with 57k miles for $21k. The dealer was asking $23k

Great. Thanks for the quick feedback everyone! I'm gonna make a trip up to the dealership this weekend and check it out. I'll see if I can't get them down closer to 19K but I'll keep in mind that regardless it's still a good deal.

That's a lot lf miles. For comparison sake, I just bought a 2008 SR5 last weekend with 34k miles for $24.4 with the extended platinum warranty for another 4 yes 65k miles. You have to also consider condition since pictures help little. Mine was immaculate inside and out and I went over it very, very, very closely. Not a mark, chip, or scrape on the inside. I detail cars as a hobby so I look for this stuff.

You should also seriously consider the condition of the tires. Mine had brand new Yokohama Geolander HTS tires. Labels were still on them. In fact, when I test drove the car on the highway, I felt a little steering wheel shake whenI hit 65 because they probably never did a wheel alignment when they put the new tires on. I made them do an alignment, drove it hard again, it was perfect, and I bought it.

Same color as the one you are looking at. Love it.

I think you can bring this price down 2-3k. But I don't know the difference between sr5 and sport
