How long after offroading do you wash your car?

As the title states I was just curious how long everyone waits after offroading to wash/clean their car? I went yesterday and have yet to wash it (been busy) :happens:

depends on where i went or what i did... if i go to the beach or sandy areas its ASAP, if its mud, eh ill leave it on for a few days maybe a couple weeks cause well mud looks BA on a truck!

And then wash at home w/ the Pressure Washer & Foam Gun.

I wash it before I wheel and then usually the next day.

I usually try to wash it right after hitting any trails/mud, but if I don't have the time I'll at least give it a good over and under spray down.

if its mud right away..and thats usually 90 percent of the time...gosh i hate mud..but i can't stay away from it..something about blastin through a puddle...

No need to wash my truck after wheeling. I only wheel the Web or the Mall parking lot.

It's seems like 4runners have alot of open areas that are small and hard to get to, where mud loves to hide.. Went mudding two weeks ago and still finding it...

Waxing your truck before you wheel helps prevent scratches.

If you have a nice clean truck before you wheel with a good wax job it makes it easier to clean afterwards.

That makes sense, I do the same thing to my freeride bike so mud doesn't stick to the frame, didn't even think about doing it with the runner. Thanks Steeze and pikeman.

everytime I wash my truck it rains and since I need to water my lawn I might go wash my truck @ lunch!!
