Assuming you wore them out as opposed to swapping them out early for better tires, how many miles did you get on your dunlops? I'm at about 1 year and 17,000 miles, and they are starting to show some signs of wear. I'm definitely looking forward to getting some more capable tires on my truck, but at the same time, I'm wondering how much time I have left on the stock tires?

I have 25k on mine and honestly they look ok. I will push em to 30-35K if I can, but I doubt they will last that long. But they are showing signs of cupping on the outside, I just balanced and rotated them yesterday and I wish I had not spent the money to do it. October I'm buying new tires reguardless. I can t stand them now as it is!

At around 17,000 miles, I started noticing that they were not wearing too well. A month later, during a snowstorm, I was going around 10 mph on a road covered with around an inch of wet snow and spun out. I had absolutely no traction with my dunlops. The next day I went to the tire shop and ordered a set of Revos. When the guy switched my tires, he said I maybe had 3,000 miles more on them at most.

I've got 38k miles on mine and can make it untill winter. I will start watching tires sales in the fall and buy some then. Plenty of tread for the next few months.

I ran mine until 23,000. Up to that point, they were decent and believe it or not, when "new" they gripped well off road. At 23K, it was like someone flipped a switch. I started having bad hydroplaning problems. The tread looked like it was about 1/2 and didn't look bad. I switched to the BFG's and never looked back.

I have almost 35K miles on mine.....they will probably make it to 38K - 40K.
I got 42K out of my Dunlops on my 03' Sport. They still had about 1/2 tread left but they were cupping and starting to crack. I also had patches in each tire. I don't know if it was the tread pattern, but the Dunlops seemed to pick up everything and puncture easily. I replaced them with some Bridgestone Deulers (Revo A/T's) and love them. The Revo's provide much better rain\snow\mud traction but they also felt a little more "nervous" on dry payment and higher speeds when they were brand new. I have about 9K miles on the Revo's and they seem to be wearing O.K. I don't think the tread will last as long but that's because it's a true A/T..
BTW, my miles were a majority highway with agressive driving. I also still have the original brakes at 51K miles! That's the most I've ever gotten out of a set of brakes on a truck.

My Dunlops lasted 7155 miles. They weren't very good in the rain and felt nervous. Bridgestone had the $75 MIR offer on Revos and I got a local Firestone dealer to match TireRack's price so I just got them.
The way I see it, the Revos will go 50k miles and Dunlops would've lasted only 10-15k more at best w/o sacrificing grip and handling (safety).

Just flipped 29k on the original dunlops. Plan to hold on to them until the tread wear makers show through. They seem to be wearing fairly evenly. I rotate them every 5k with the oil change per the owners manual.
I am starting to notice a slight warp in the brake rotors when coming to a slow speed stop after a few quick stops in a row. Maybe I should just start a new thread on that.
I have a set of 265/70/17 goodyear ATS w/800 miles on them I got for $64 each sitting in my shed wait for the dulops to wear out.

I have 2000 on my Dunlops. I will most likely keep them until the winter and then most likely get Michelins Cross Terrain or maybe Revos. I'm a Michelin fan, never had a problem with them. I want to get new tires sooner but can't justify to myself spending the money while the Dunlops are still "good". I made a few loopholes for myself. If I get a nail or if one blows they all go. The Dunlops feel iffy when I hit a puddle, haven't experienced any hydroplaning get, but when I do, they're gone. I have a friend that work for a tire shop and when his boss saw my truck for the first time he loved it, but his second comment was to get rid of the dunlops. I can get the new tired at cost and free install.

I think mine may be wearing out faster than usual because I have indeed done a fair amount of off-roading. The last trail I was on had some decent sided rocks I had to crawl over (considering I don't have a lift). After I got home, I noticed that the sides were dinged up quite a bit, and the white lettering was kind of starting to fall off in places.
