How long have you owned your 3rd gen?

ok about time belts

ok so OME = Old Man Emu which is the most popular brand sold for 3rd gen 4runner lifts though there are others. The medium is the rating of the coils which means that it can hold 100+ hundred pounds of extra weight. 33s means the size of tires i have (measuring the diameter)... my 4runner came with 265/70/16 (31s) and i upgraded to 285/75/16 (33s).

Waiting til ur timing belt breaks is not a smart position to put urself in bc if it breaks while ur not at home itll create more probs of having to tow ur runner and get the parts. It is probably better to take it to a place to get it done if u are unsure and are unfamiliar with it. I got help from my dad and his friend but it was still tedious and very difficult.

well maybe Im still the lucky man, i had cars branded as ford chevy nissan ''honda and the last 6 were toyotas were the best'' I never had to change the time belt to all of my cars, toyotas never failed to me only ford and chevy, so even if i sound negligent Inever done so...
and tnx for all the explanation about ome( its because I doesnt speak english well) take care they said that toyotas can give you 700,000 miles on odometer , its true? i have a camry running like new at 270 000, y 4runner had 148 000

2nd 3rd gen and 4th Toyota for me (corolla SR5 and camry before).

Had my Black 96 3rd gen from December 06 to Septembet 08 (put 50k on it during that time, sold with with just a tick under 200k), fully paided for as well (I still miss her). 2nd owner.

Bought my current 3rd gen 4runner in September 08 with around 95k on it currently sitting at 126k. 4th owner.
