how long Yakima fairing do Ineed?

I have a yakima rack, not the basket but the roof rack rails etc, I want to add the fairing to the front but dont know which lenght to get? can anyone shed some light?

Are the bars in place of the stock crossbars or with separate mounts over the front doors?

I have the 44" fairing over the front doors. If its just for crossbars on the stock rack, i would go with the next smallest one. I think thats the 36".

I'm using the rails and I'm planning on getting the 38"

ohh ok sorry I misunderstood, yeah I have the same thing as you so I will get the 44 then. Thanks you, how does it mount, straps around the bar and the like suction cups on bottom or something?

Clips to bar and has hand screws to tighten it down. Pads on the part that touches the roof. Its on there pretty good.

think it'd be cheesy if i put a fairing on my roof rack?
It looks stock, but its actually from a pathfinder/infinity QX4, so its a little bigger.

I have the 38" fairing on my Yakima bars. It is the exact same width as the rails, so it looks pretty perfect. That said, your bars stick out past the fairing on either side quite a bit still. (I have 48" bars). You could probably use the 44" fairing, but the bottom edge of the fairing would start to hang out in open space at the ends, due the roof not being quite that wide.

I like my 38".

I just bought the 38" today for 20 bucks WOOHOO. it fits nicely between the factory tracks.
