How low offset do I need to fit 305/55/20 terra grapplers??

Hey guys, anyone know how low of an offset I'd need to fit 305/55/20 nitto terra grapplers on my 07 4runner? I already have a 2/2.25" lift kit going in as well, so I think the only issue now will be to space them out away from the suspension and pull the plastic liners away? I dont mind if they rub a little bit on full lock, just want to stuff the largest possible tire I can under there with a 20" rim. Thanks in advance!!

you're not going to fit a 305 wide tire on that truck with a 2inch lift. at that width you're going to rub the body mount, which is not something you can just easily move out of the way. the widest tire you can run with a 2inch lift would be 285.. and even with that size tire you will still have to trim the front bumper, move the splash guard forward, and remove any mudflaps.

I understand what your saying but with a -12 offset, they should stick out far enough to fit the 305's

That size is a wide 33" tire. It will be very close, even with negative offset wheels, to the body mount. You will need to do all the mods that someone wanting to run 33x12.50 tires would. I'd drop down to 305/50's and they will fit better.

Most 20" wheels are 9-10 inches wide. Getting the necessary backspacing is going to be the key component. -12 is about as much as you want to go in order to prevent stressing the front end components.

IIRC, you already have the wheels. What are the specs?

The tires I run on my runner are 305/70/16 4" backspacing and 12mm offset. 3" toytec spacer. Had to trim the bumper and splash shield things.
