A little over five and a half years later..

114500 miles.

Still runs and looks like new.

And a little over a year later, 117400 miles.

Just grabbed a 1996 SR5 5 Speed with 211K. Engine runs very strong. This was an Arizona car so the body is good. Getting her straightened out now, rear axle seals, CV joints, all fluids, etc. This will be my tow vehicle for boat season and my snow cruiser.

Came with some bad bling wheels. Sold them and scored a set of takeoff 2011 Tacoma steelies with chrome skins for $100. Bought a hitch off a wrecked '96 4R for $50.

225k last week. other than my synchros going out slowly, i have zero complaints. maybe need some new u joints on the rear drive shaft. happy owner. just got my title in yesterday so shes paid off now! sweet.

As well as a 99 Manual with 212,000 that met the same fate..

I have 231,390 miles on a 2001 SR5 2x4, Iv'e replaced the radiator due to slight over heating & spark plugs were on sale at the dealer for $1.40 each & NGK wire set, new fuel filter , changed all fluids to synthetic. But the original owner used Mobil 1 only which was great. replaced u-joints , did the OME 3" kit from Toytech & went with Grabbers a/t'2 in 265/75R 16's , I've taken it to three dealers to get the free multi-point inspections and all three dealers said the same thing "cannot find any issues" mint condition ! only use original Toyota parts.
Gotta say its a solid vehicle & great on the trails, gets me to the varmint grounds !

131K on the '00 SR5 that I just bought. 142K on a '97 Ltd that I sold a couple of yrs ago. I have seen a number of 3rd gens for sale in this area with over 200K.
