My '99 Limited has 201560. Had to replace drive shaft at 170k because of a thrown weight. Other than that it's only been an alternator and starter, couple batteries, brakes and tires.

The old girl has developed a shimmy in the front and I can not figure it out. Wheels have been balanced and my mechanic says he can't find anything wrong. Any ideas? Front end seems tight.

Just a thought, my old 98 had a front end shake which caused me to start "fixing everything". Replaced ball joints top & bottom, struts, had an alignment done, several wheel balances, new steering rack (had a slight leak anyways) nothing seemed to work. Ended up replacing my tires (previous owner installed Wal-Mart tire center Goodyears) over to a new set of Michelin LT2s and wha-la, it was like driving a new car.
