How many miles on your 4runner?

96 4x2 2.7l i4 only 60750 miles right now

I have a 98 limited with 62k miles. I have only done basic maintenacne(filters, oil plugs etc etc) My brakes are original. I changed the tires at 60k miles.

Truck is running strong. The wife and I are very easy on it so I can expect the brakes to last to say 90 or 100k

Hi, this is my first post. I bought a '97 4runner for my wife about 5 years ago (she kept seeing them on the road and asking, "What's that? I want one of those."-- I guess I'm just lucky!)

Anyway, it had 50,000 miles on it when I bought it and now it has over 176,000 miles. Haven't done a thing to it except preventive maintenance and oil changes. Oh, and a brake job.

Question is: how many miles on your 4runner? How many miles should I expect to get?

Just bought my 1996 4runner @ 161,000 miles. It drives like a brand new truck I am so impressed. This is my first 4Runner and I am so far extremely happy with it.

'99 2WD - 49,512 miles

'95 4WD - just hit 100,000 miles. just had all the belts and water pump replaced

'86 4WD - 4cy, 5spd w/ 35"s and geared w/ 4.88s getting around 18mpg on the highway and it has 255,981 miles. Still very strong

1997 SR5 V6 4wd: 127,600 miles and going strong!

average 20-21mpg combined; 23-24 mpg highway!

will be driving from home (eastern NC) to Memphis for Christmas - so add another 2k or so miles!

I have about 138K in a '97 3.4L V6. I run alot of errands for family business plus college is kinda far. Always changed my own oil and still running very strong. Only 2 times maintenance in my whole life. Great car

I have a 1996 with the v6 and I have 80,000 miles on it and it runs great. Last summer I talked to a guy from california and he said he had one like mine and he sold it with 255,000 miles on it. It used a little oil but it was nice to see these engines are built to last.
