How many miles on your 4runner?

Bangers burned up 95 #1 at 205k...drove away but interior was done.

Kid destroyed 95#2 with 230k...only make a rock crawler now.

Just picked up 96 #1 with 220 two months ago...now has 226.

02 about to hit 200k. replaced the front differential after it blew up, that is. running strong!

Bought my 00 SR5 with 235k miles on the clock, bolted a supercharger on it and now she's at 260k trouble free miles. I love that I change my oil after 4k miles and its still gold and my moms brand new suburban motor oil is black in 500 miles! Gotta love Toyota!!

I love seeing all these high milage 3.4s on the net. Gives me hope mine will go that long. I'm more worried about the transmission going before the motor. Just need to check the timing belt.

So last night on my all original '98 that I bought new, I hit 500,000 km. Very cool to see a 5 as the 1st digit.
That's 310,685 miles for my US friends and still 4Runs perfect!

156,000 on my '99 SR5. Ready to go another 150,000!

Bought a 2000 SR5 4x4 last year with 111,000 miles. I now have 125,000. Unless it gets stolen or somebody creams me in an accident, I plan on owning this rig for a long, long time because I know how long these engines will last. The key is doing regular oil changes and other preventative maintenance. Even if something major goes, like the transmission, it's still more affordable to invest the money into one of these 3rd Gens instead of dropping $45,000+ on a new 4runner. It's crazy how much new trucks and SUVs cost these days.

I just joined the 4R family with a 96 4x4 that has 270k seems to be running great minus what I think is the starter that just went out this morning.
