How many miles on your 4runner?

Since my post a couple years ago I've driven another 38k which puts me at 227k on my 99

I just crossed 260k earlier this week. Can't believe I've put more than 33k in the last 10 months!

220k miles. Still a good truck! Currently having an electrical problem that I'm having a problem diagnosing (how I found this really cool forum). If I can get this figured out, I see no reason I can't get 220k more on it.

Dont be shy to start a thread if you cant figure it out. Lots of people probably gone through you same issue. Good luck and yes that beast can go another 200k if you take care of her right. Im at 260k and hoping for 400k on the stock drivetrain/engine.

Thanks! After searching a bit, and not seeing my issue (but there is a LOT to go through), I tried to post a new thread. It wouldn't let me...on account of me being a noob

I did finally find a post where someone had a very similar issue, and I kinda hi-jacked it (it was pretty old, so I didn't feel too bad about it), Some guys over there are helping me now go through the electrical diagnosis (definitely my weak spot). My gut is telling me that we are going to wind up at the ECM, but I don't want to buy and replace one on the odd chance it may or may not be the issue.

I have a 99 4runner with 330K on it in my driveway, I puked the transmission in it, so I'm scrapping it cause the frame is ruff. The motor still runs great. If I didn't live in a road salt area, I'd be putting a transmission in it. Of course I replaced it with another 3rd gen 4runner, I love the reliability.

Bought it a week ago with 184k on the ticker....runs a drives like a new vehicle. Even looks new. One owner, garage kept and all work done at the dealer. Whoooot!
