How many miles on your 4runner?

I’m at 239k as of right now. Recently replaced the transmission and rear diff but other than that it’s been extremely minor stuff over the years. I sure hope she appreciates the near-7 grand I put into her instead of getting something new lol. Hopefully the next money I throw at it will be for fun stuff. But my 2000 Ltd is kinda like an old shoe. I’m comfortable in it and love all of the possibilities I see on this forum for making it even better. Oh, and this is my first post. Longtime lurker, but just recently registered

Newbie here. Recently purchased a 2000 Ltd with 195k. It is a one owner, garage kept with complete service history. Looks like it just rolled off the dealers lot. Looking forward to many more miles out of the old girl.
I plan to keep her pretty much stock, but am thinking about some type of camper conversion for road trips.

I just bought mine for $1400. It has right at 280,000. Obviously it’s not in perfect condition. 4x4 won’t engage, it’s got some dents and scratches but nothing serious. It also needs shocks and tires lol

Just passed 240k 00' SR5. Lots of work in the past few months since i'm just stuck at home.
OTREs, LBJs, RH ITRE, Valve Cover gaskets, new radiator, themostat, oil change, new fluids in Diffs and transfer case, inside LEDS, paid for a new timing belt, seals and water pump.
Next up is new transmission filter and fluids, power steering fluid and sway bar bushings.
Hoping to double this mileage!

198k 4x4 got a crack in the radiator when I was on a interstate so I ran it a little hot and had issues with it since until the head gasket got to bad I had to throw her in the shop

I have 261k. I am on original motor, tranny. I replaced the radiator when I did not need to so I still count it. haha. The only maintenance I have done are oil changes, UBJ, LBJ, water pump/timing belt/thermostat (why not its only 31 bucks and you're already there), upgraded the brake lines in the front to braided, spark plugs and new wires.

I have never done head gaskets in my possession. Has anyone else gone much more on the original engine?
I’m not having any issues at all and it’s crazy it shows no signs of age
Maybe they were done before I bought it but it’s crazy that these engines will run so well for so long

I’m currently at 382K miles on my 3rd gen. I was wondering when I would be due for a new transmission. My mechanic says it still runs good but it’s losing power and I need to get it replaced real soon. Seenma ok to me from how I watch it shift gears and still runs smooth as hell. The truck does seem slow though, any thoughts?

I got my 98 4Runner (3.4 auto 4wd) many years ago with 75k and now it has over 250k. Runs great and still has cold AC! Needs a rear bumper...

Mines got 288,000 and still going strong. Changing the timing belt and replacing whatever else they suggest and hopefully she still last a lot longer

Might be time for a valve adjustment.

Id keep driving it if it feels okay to you. Some people get worried over high mileage and end up trying to fix somthing just because its old.
Could very well be just maintenance. valves, sparkplugs..... Its always going to feel old and tired at that many miles but if its still going scew it!
I just passed 260k on my last trip from LA to Idaho, still getting close to 20mpg highway
A 3rd gen (1996-2002) with 7,168 miles? Sir, you are sitting on a gold mine.
